School Year Calendar

The calendar for the full 2012-2013 has been completed by the district. Some school events are still to be determined, and some are posted here tentatively, with approval to come at the first PTC meeting (for their sponsored events.) This calendar will be updated as new events are planned,so check back often for important dates. For now, here are some important dates that you may want to transfer to your personal / family calendar.

**Note: Family Reading Nights are held every Wednesday and Thursday evening from 6:00--8:00 P.M. in the Library, unless noted. FRNs are not held on the evening before a school holiday, nor when the library is being used for another event, such as Book Fair or Santa Shop.

**Note: Lunch Orders are collected every Wednesday morning by 9:00 A.M. All students who want a hot lunch for the following week must submit orders, including students who receive Free and Reduced Price Meals.

**Note: Marcos Pizza is served every Friday by the PTC, and the cost is $1.00 per slice, ordered on Friday morning, with a limit of 2 slices per student. Popcorn is available on Fridays, as well, at a cost of 25 cents per bag.

**Note: All AM half days are slated for dismissal at 11:45 A.M. Latchkey will be available for the afternoon until 6:00 PM. All PM half days have a starting time of 12:15 PM. Latchkey services will be available during the morning, starting at 6:45 AM. Normal school days begin at 8:40 AM, with the first bell (entrance to the building) at 8:35 AM. Breakfast starts at 8:00 AM. Unless your child is attending Latchkey or breakfast, please do not drop off prior to 8:20 AM.

**Note: Mrs. Holloway and Mrs. Carafelli are available to register students now. Please call 734-285-4080 to make an appointment, or drop by between 8:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. Please bring birth certificate, 2 proofs of residency (mortgage/rent agreement, utility bill, driver's license, voter registration,), immunization record (or be prepared to sign a waiver if applicable), and IEP if student has been certified for special education services, including speech and language.
