  • Students and Staff!  Relay for life is May 18th and May 19th.  Don’t forget to get your bookmarks for $2 and your stars for $1 in the library!  Through your generosity, you are creating a world with more birthdays.

  • Attention Drama Club, please drop by Mrs. O’Day’s room to re-vote for your 2013-2014 club officers. We had to do a recall, yikes! Ballots will be available Monday, May 13 through Friday, May 17th. Thanks for your patience!

  •  Attention all Juniors & Seniors!  The Junior-Senior Breakfast is Thursday, May 30th at 7:45 a.m.  Tickets can be purchased for $12.00 through Ms. Mikesell (room 102) before and after school and by any junior class officer or rep.  Tickets will also be sold during lunches!  Don't miss this Riverview tradition & great time!

  •  If you received a sheet of questions about a spring sport you are involved with, please complete it and return it to Mrs. Frost in room 206.

    Seniors – there are only a limited amount of books for order so be especially sure you get your senior edition.

ATHLETIC ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • Come support your varsity girls soccer team tonight at home as they take on the Jefferson Bears.  The game is at 6:00.  It’ll be a fun game so come out for a good time!

  • Attention: All girls interested in becoming a member of the Riverview Varsity or JV sideline cheer teams.  Cheer clinics will be held on May 21st from 5:30-7:00 pm and also on May 22nd from 3:00-4:30 in the Seitz Middle School balcony.  There is also a Mandatory Clinic on Thursday, May 23rd from 5:30-7:00 in the SMS balcony as well.  If you have any questions or want to pick up a Try-Out Packet, please see Coach W. in room 201.  Go Pirates!

     

     

     

     

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


COUNSELING ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • The Hazel Foote Scholarship is available to seniors who are planning on pursuing a career in nursing or other medical/dental related field.  Applications are available in the counseling office.  The deadline to apply is June 1.
  • The Matthew Edwards Memorial Scholarship is available to seniors who are attending a Christian college or majoring in criminal justice.  Students must also have a minimum 2.5 grade point average.  Applications are available in the counseling office.  The deadline to apply is June 7.

  • The Association of Chinese Americans is offering academic scholarships to seniors who are of Chinese ancestry or interested in serving the Chinese American community.  Applications are available in the counseling office.  The deadline to apply is June 14.

  • Any students interested in digital cinema, game design, web design or music recording; summer camps are available from MSU.  See your counselor for more details.

  • Sophomores or juniors interested in attending U of M Dearborn in the future, sign-up for their open house this June.  See your counselor for more details.

 

 

 

 



 

 

 


 

 

 


CLUB ANNOUNCEMENTS  

 

  • Attention NHS sophomores, juniors and new seniors – you must see Mrs. Ames in room 116 to get your rules sheet and your hours’ time-sheet for the 2013-14 school year.  Rules and dues must be turned in before June 7.

  • Hola Diversity Club Members!  We are having an oober doober important meeting after school today!  See you there gorgeous!

      

  •  Are you looking to join Student Council next year?  If so, come pick up an application and sign up for an interview time.  Applications are available in the office, library or Mrs. Eshleman’s room, room 125.  Don’t miss out to make a difference in our school & get involved.  All applications are due by May 17th for new members, May 13th for returning members.
