1) What is the difference between PowerSchool and Schoology?
 
The difference between PowerSchool and Schoology is that PowerSchool is a student information system (SIS) which contains the demographics of the student, parent info, emergency contact info, grades, bus schedules, etc.  Schoology is a learning management system (LMS).  The info that populates the classes, teachers and students into Schoology comes from PowerSchool.  However, the content on the teacher's Schoology pages are created by the teacher to share with students and parents.
 
  

2) How do I check my email from home

Enter http://www.outlook.com/riverviewschools.com in your browser's address box. Enter your username and password.

 

3) How do I connect to Illuminate?

4)  What do I do if I have a problem with technology?

Before entering a SchoolDude helpdesk ticket, please view the attached document (Troubleshooting Checklist)  and troubleshoot your issue. It may be a simple issue that you can quickly resolve yourself.
